I went to the store today to pick up some groceries. After buying them, as I was heading for the entrance I noticed a couple of signs for the bank that’s located inside the store. (By the way, what is it with putting banks inside grocery stores? Isn’t it bad enough that there are Starbucks cafes inside them already?)

In any case, one sign read:

How does
0%
percent sound
to YOU?!

I thought: Redundant. Yes, the old 0% percent. As if the % sign didn’t mean “percent.” It’s kinda like people who talk about IBM machines. Or ICBM missiles.

Oh well. Just an observation. Chalk it up with the rhetorical question I arrived at yesterday at work:

If an astronaut is standing on the moon and he notices another astronaut behind him, so he quickly pulls his pants down…is he Earthing the other astronaut?

Hey, someone’s gotta think of this stuff…
