Reading the anonymous “contributions” over on Triablogue has brought an image to mind.
Grandma’s little lap dog.
You know the one. That little fur ball that growls at you when you step into the room. It yaps and yaps and thinks it’s the “big dog” of the house, even though it’s only three inches tall. He’ll run up and start biting at your ankles to defend his territory.
You do nothing. Sure, it irritating, but Grandma’s in the room. As soon as she falls asleep, though, it’s time to drop-kick the poodle out the door and into the back yard where the doberman can have a snack.
That’s about what those lovely anonymous contributors are worth.
