There are other good articles on the site.  In general, I can see their point rather clearly -- all (or nearly so) of the &quot;propecies&quot; concerning Jesus are clearly overwhelmed by the straightforward descriptions of the Messiah given:

I can see why the Jews are still Jews.  Erase the entire NT from your head, put yourself in their shoes back then, and assume that the events in the gospels are accurate in what they say, only in those things that happen around the Jews (ie not the explanation to just the disciples &quot;in private&quot;, not the post-resurrection appearances, which did not include the Jews, etc).

Would you have forsaken the Torah to believe this new prophet?</description>
